ABOUT RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN
After long and highly distinguished careers with other collaborators, Richard Rodgers (Composer, 1902-1979) and Oscar Hammerstein II (Librettist/Lyricist, 1895-1960) joined forces in 1943 to create the most successful partnership in American musical theater. Prior to joining forces, Rodgers collaborated with lyricist Lorenz Hart on musical comedies that epitomized wit and sophistication (Pal Joey, On Your Toes, Babes In Arms and more), while Hammerstein brought new life to operetta and created the classic Show Boat with Jerome Kern. Oklahoma!, the first Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, introduced an integrated form that became known as “the musical play.” Their shows that followed included Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, and The Sound of Music. Collectively, the Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals have earned Tony, Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Pulitzer, and Olivier Awards. The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization is a Concord Company, www.concord.com.

The Beauties of Life | Rodgers & Hammerstein: In Their Own Words
I really love this part of the movie. This was when the other lady knew she has lost 😅😅😅😅.
Not with me you’re not. 😁
God be with the people of mine that were subject to any sort of tyranny.
✝️
Me encanta la música instrumental que acompaña ésta escena. Bella
這個家族他們全部到了VT山上開了一家旅館
THE WORST PART IS MY CLASS HAS TO SING THIS AT AWARDS DAY (INCLUDING ME)
This is the best song out of the entire movie.😅😅😅
Why can't he pronounce Edelweiss correctly?
In today’s society Ralph would get arrested 17 going on 18 18 is an adult and he will be charged with delinquency of a minor
I'm going to be 17 in a week and I've never had a boyfriend
It says he died Feb 5th 2021 so was right it was 2021 !

So beautiful!!!!!! I never ever get tired of hearing this song.
This song has always held a special place in my heart, like Over The Rainbow, ever since I was a little boy in the 60's...
This is still a banger since elementary on soul😭😭
Gordon MacRae’s role was originally offered to Frank Sinatra. Thank God he turned it down.
Total grace, total WOMEN. As a child, she was my idea of sophistication.
Is it mere coincidence that "Mama with the gleaming gloat" more than faintly resembles Mary Martin, who starred in the original Broadway play (only with her natural hair color instead of the blonde she was as Maria)?
I sing along without thinking. I wish the Reverend Mother's response to Sister Margaretta was on the soundtrack.
Is no one else going to acknowledge how perfectly SWEET it is that the moments they first started loving each other were so silly and no one would ever guess those were the ones? Probably they didn't even realize it at the moment but in retrospect...perfection.
Eu quero ficar só.
Oxytocin warmth laced with uncertainty ♥️
It's a hormone
do a deer a female deer
That's not Plummer singing
Silent generation and boomers doomed future generations with the housing crisis, but I do love their idea of love. Lol
Fantasia 1940 Meet West Side Story The Sound Of Music

Hello, July Snffdes lovely sick and good movie, PORTUGAL AND July, 😮🎉🎉😂😊😮😢😮😢🎉😊😢😅😮😢😊😮
I grew up watching this movie. (drove my parents bananas), 30 years later I learned that what I'd been hearing wasn't the face I saw singing. So I came to UA-cam to find this. It's beautiful. And I'm so very glad it exists. 💙
That said. It is listed as Bill as the artist on Spotify. And usually I spot things like that, so why I didn't with this, I'll never know. But I'm grateful for the knowledge now. =)
I'm 16 going on 17 but no boy is singing and dancing with me in a greenhouse :\
I have a question for anybody. Anybody is free to put their two cents in. If anybody remembers lieutenant Cable is killed in the war. He is beginning to regret calling it off with Liat, Bloody Mary's daughter. Earlier he had told Bloody Mary that he could not possibly marry her daughter, due to their cultural differences although he really loved Liat. Supposing that lieutenant Cable had not been killed in the war. If he had succeeded in getting out of it alive does anybody think he would have gone back to Bloody Mary, admitted he made a terrible mistake, and agreed to marry Liat. If so how would lieutenant Cable have explained the situation to his family back in Philadelphia?
Still the absolute best ❤
The first time I watched this I was around seven. I stormed out of the room angry, my mom asked what was wrong and I said “17 ISN’T THAT MUCH OLDER THAN 16, I DON’T LIKE THIS MOVIE” I refused to watch the rest, my mom had to fast forward to show me they didn’t end up together.
This is my emotional support video. Whenever I want to feel moved and inspired, I come here. My other one is Lea Salonga’s audition video for Ms Saigon when she’s learning sun and moon. Highly recommend.
Just for You
Lol i came hearing moses singing two lines
